Larry Lee Grubb
Apr 19, 2018He was born July 14, 1946 in Upshur County, a son of the late Cecil and Geneva Hinkle Grubb. On Feb.17, 1967 he married Sharon Sue Brady who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Timothy Grubb and Michael Shawn Grubb and wife Jennifer, all of Buckhannon; one daughter, Kelly White and husband Donald, of Weston; three grandsons, Jonathan Grubb and com-panion Harlie Stout, of Jane Lew, Shawn Grubb II and wife Kaley of Buckhannon and Araon Grubb, of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Brittany Grubb, of Buckhannon, and Morganne Grubb, of Weston; four great-grandsons, Kyler and Kamden Grubb, both of Buckhannon, Jaxen Grubb of Jane Lew and Jamison Breeden of Weston; one step-great-grandson, Tristen Watson, of Jane Lew; one great-granddaughter, Addison Grubb, of Buckhannon; two brothers, Robert Grubb and wife Sheri, of Morgantown, and Donald Grubb and wife Nancy, of Buckhannon, and two sisters, Margaret Wilcher and Donna Matthews, both of Buckhannon. Mr. Grubb was the president of Hydrocarbon Well Service, a Christian by faith and a member of the National Guard for six years. He was an avid gun collector. Larry truly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and has passed his gun collection to them. After Larry retired from the oil and gas business he proudly delivered newspapers for The Inter-Mountain for 18 years.Friends will be received today, April 18, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vegan.
